ADVANCING EQUITY IN DOCTORAL EDUCATION

FOR HISTORICALLY EXCLUDED WOMEN & FEMME SCHOLARS

Equitable doctoral education is a path to progress, prosperity, and transformative societal change.

We support the recruitment and retention of historically excluded doctoral scholars, especially Black women and nonbinary people, so they can successfully navigate academia, connect to meaningful careers in higher education and the global workforce, and increase their mental and economic well-being.

WHAT WE DO

Resources

Our culturally-tailored professional development workshops, courses, conferences, and podcast provide on-demand tools and training to democratize the “hidden curriculum”for doctoral students and applicants.

Mentorship

Our year-long mentorship program provides culturally relevant, discipline-based academic, professional, and personal development to address the lack of mentorship and community for underrepresented doctoral students.

Community

Our digital community platform is a safe and welcoming space for scholars to network, collaborate, and provide mutual support, healing, and encouragement across institutional, disciplinary, and geographic silos.
